Long drawn edit warring in controversial articles reveal the weakness of the wiki approach to constructing an encyclopedia. After a major overhaul to the WP article on Swami Nithyananda, there are a lot of 'fights' taking place in the WP article talk page with some demanding that the article is a hit piece and it be taken down.

----
If we check the article history we find dramatic changes to the article content from when it was first created to now. This is how it looked on January 11, 2010, soon after it was created and soon after it survived an AfD: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Swami_Nithyananda&diff=337203389&oldid=337192963

This is how it is looking today: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swami_Nithyananda

In the interim period, substantial material has been added and removed from the article. There is no stability. This is a similar feature in almost every WP article, but more so in articles pertaining to What the reader is reading today in an article may be different from what he will read tomorrow. Significant sections may have been removed or replaced or added. That is why it is necessary for every WP article to have some kind of a disclaimer prominently displayed on every page to the effect that what the reader is reading may be inaccurate or false.
